## Hi Jack and Jeb, It was great to visit with you guys at SNF. I thought I would share our experience with the Continental AD. We purchased a factory rebuilt IO550 last year for our club’s A36 Bonanza. We had 160 hours on it when the AD was issued. Our serial number was on the list of affected engines. We have a great relationship with our maintenance shop and they were able to accommodate us within 2 weeks. They made the inspection tool and removed 2 cylinders to check for the suspect circlip. Luckily, ours was installed correctly and the engine was reassembled without incident. The shop submitted their bill to Continental and was promptly paid.
