Re: Circular Banked Runways?

So you are on short final, and the controller calls "Go around"..... That can have more than one interpretation, can't it?

The Insourcing Boom

Very much enjoyed reading about the advantages industrial companies are seeing in bringing production back home. Thought it might relevant here to because of all the stories of GA manufacturers outsourcing production. http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2012/12/the-insourcing-boom/309166/?si...

Interview on EAA Radio to Austin Meyer, with Amy

I would love to hear Amy's thoughts on the hit-a-red-button-and-the-airplane-will-bring-itself-down-to-the-best-runway-using-artificial-intelligence avionics. (Austin's description)

Re: Episode #286 "Shoot to Kill"

Regarding the Affordaplane; I've been following the Yahoo group on it (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Cheapaircraft/) and although people always deviate from the plans, the consensus seems to be that it's near impossible to built it light enough for part 103. The ones flying are registered experiment...

Re: A cool foot launched glider...

Well, as always, you can trade money for time and build your own:

An old video (in German) is here:

I also think it is very cool, but bit complicated to build. Estimated at 1000 hours !

Re: Don't overfill your iPad!

If any one wants more technical information on this, check this post http://www.marco.org/2011/10/13/ios5-caches-cleaning

Me thinks Apple will provide a fix pretty soon.
