Re: Ep#392

Thanks for discussing the fate of Cessna N2102P. I thought you might at least acknowledge that pulling power on climb out with no where to go isn't the safest method of training. Thanks for coming around Jack. This is the plane we flew from KPVG to KFFA (First Flight) to tour the right museum, visit...

The Cessna is hanging above Baggage claim area north of the escalators. The T-bird is upstairs on the 2nd level that is open to see both bagg...

For Multi Engine Sea Plane Ratings I want to go here:

I really think I have to go fly their Beech 18 on Floats. It could be the coolest float plane I have ever seen.

Re: Air Shows

Thanks Bill, From what I understand there has been discussions with EAA national. This flying club has been around for years, and while it started out as a way for guys to have a plane to fly while they build an airplane it is and always has been separate from the EAA chapter. They are a great group...

Air Shows

We went to the Nellis AFB Air Show "Aviation Nation" Had the good camera with the 300 lens and took a ton of pictures. They say this is one of the largest shows in the US. Through my wife we were invited to take a private tour of the base. The tour was great but we missed some of the air s...

Re: Episode #158 "Mach Point Five Six"

Great stuff, Mike, and the kind of info that needs to get around more...the quote above had me wondering about something: is there a chance you could recalculate your costs based on using the club plane from the start? And the instructor? Have a feeling that (a) not only will it reflect a really go...

Re: Episode #158 "Mach Point Five Six"

.... As a sales pitch, I think the answer has to be "It's worth it". Nobody who wants to ride one blanches at the cost of a Harley. Throughout history, aviation was fueled by passion. Some have it. Some find it. Some lose it, too. -DJT I agree. That’s how I made the final decision to lear...
