Thanks for the FANTASTIC episode. Sounded like the three of you were having a GREAT time! Happy to hear Dave is building. Will love the process and love even more flying once complete. I'm still enjoying my RV-12.

Just finished listening to #380C. Nice to hear you guys from SunNFun and wish I was there. Think Dave provided a bit of mis-information with regard to the differences between building E-LSA or E-AB when one has the option. Yes, after initial certification as an E-LSA, the owner can modify the E-LSA ...
Great job on the last episode. I'm also caught up and now have to listen to the other aviation related podcast when I'm at the YMCA. Nice set of comments on the RV-12. I love mine. You should really consider calling your friend Adam Smith who is now working for Van's Aircraft. An in-depth interview ...

Should be a good stop for those flying from the southwest to Oshkosh 2011. http://www.globegazette.com/news/local/articl...
Thought you guys might find the attached photo interesting. As mentioned in either Episode 201 or 202, there was a midair at Oshkosh. Luckily, both planes landed. The photo shows the Piper PA-11 Cub at the EAA Chapter 75 Repair Barn. The tip of the prop on the plane was visibly bent. As such, he ind...

I had to agree with the comments regarding the Sport Pilot CFI. I totally agree that the FAA interpretation of the regulations is just plain and simple upside down. Hours are hours. Dual hours with a Sport Pilot-CFI should count torward the next level, the private pilot certificate. As I understand ...
