Guy in Vancouver, BC got caught after he shone a laser at a patrolling RCMP helicopter who then got it on camera and FLIR, then followed him until his arrest. Unfortunately I missed the tiedown party and EP 300 hopefully will catch a UCAP event next year. Was at AirVenture but I was sick Thursday and my friend needed to leave right away Sunday to get home for work. Look forward to listening to the episodes on the ipod tonight.

I'm going to Oshkosh for the first time this year, planning to arrive Wednesday evening and staying until Sunday morning. While there's obviously an infinite amount of things to see and do just curious if people have suggestions for must see / do items?
Congratulations Landis. I'm just finishing my CPL and going on to my Multi IFR and possibly my instructors rating. Thinking of going to Oshkosh this year as I'm not working (doing CPL training full time), was wondering if UCAP will be doing a live recording again this year, if so do you know which day it will be? I can probably only go for 3-4 days if I do go. Also any other advice for which days to go if I can ...
I have the base model Aera 500 and so far I really like it. The touch screen interface makes it much easier to use than scrolling around with buttons.
