Air venture next year.

I was thinking it would be cool if at Oshkosh next year they had a special parking area for aircraft that are for sale. I love window shopping and it would make that process much easier.

Re: Lest you think you can beat density altitude!

Even if the guy was not intelligent enough to do a weight and balance and he didn't realize his takeoff was way too long, he still had a lot of time to put it down in the grass before he got to the trees when he realized he was not climbing.

Re: Why We Need User Fees

Re: LSA Industry Whining About 3rd Class FAA Medical Proposals

I agree the HP/complex line is more logical, my only question is how many more planes would this line allow? I cant think of too many 200hp planes that are not complex other then experimental. I wouldn't want to risk this proposal not passing so that a handful of planes would fit into the category. ...

Re: LSA Industry Whining About 3rd Class FAA Medical Proposals

I agree that it would be great if they would let us fly 6000# planes, but I don't see that happening. Hey look on the bright side, this is a step forward. This will have a positive effect on the value of my 172, and Lower the cost of LSA's (they would now have 172's, cherokee's, Mauls, citabrias, hu...

time lapse of a nieuport 28

This is a really neat video of the construction process of a Airdrome Airplanes Nieuport 28. Its well worth the watch. I'm currently in the process of building a Fokker DR1 from Airdrome Airplanes.
