Hey Everyone! I'm a Newbie to Oshkosh but I was fortunate enough for my college to send me in an airplane! We Arrived about 1300 local and the school's Red Super Decathlon is parked to the south side of the IAC Headquarters. I have to work at the airplane most of the show so if you want to learn abo...

Hey Jack, Jeb, Dave, and other UCAP listeners, I am about to start college and I will be doing lots of flight training (some where in the $110,000 range). I plan on studying EVERYTHING, i.e. Commercial Aviation, ATC, and Unmanned Aircraft Systems. I would like to possibly start my own small podcast ...

Here is the link to Turbo Wing International's Cessna 337 Skymaster page. They also have a Cessna 207 Skywagon that has also been retro fitted and supposedly test flown 100 times with a change in Takeoff distance over a 50 ft barrier from 1,900 ft to 400 ft. http://turbo-wing-development.org.magname...

Re: A Vice-Presidential tow hook?

I would have to agree with Scofreyjet on this one. it looks a lot like the Pitot Static on the Warrior. although im gonna speculate that this looks like it would be more along the lines of being a part of a Static system. I also wonder if it doesn't have something to do with measuring out side press...

Re: Air-to-air Frequncies

OK so that link shows 122.750 as the air to air for private aircraft. Will that Always be the air to air frequency or is there a time you should or have to request a special frequency?

Ep #292

For the topic of the ATC trainees being in the tower and on the frequencies, I had the awesome opportunity to do a job shadow at Flying Cloud (KFMC) in what the controllers referred to as the Cab (basically the 360 degree windowed room in the tower). What I noticed when I was there is that at each c...

Air-to-air Frequncies

So I'm still a Student Pilot but the light at the end of the tunnel is Very near :) , Anyway I hear all this talk about flying somewhere with another plane(s) and using air-to-air frequencies.... What are these frequencies and what are their related procedures?
