Re: Episode #164 "Three Airplanes"

My three: 1. RV8 - I think these aircraft are the greatest experimentals. Low and slow, upside down, and respectable speed all rolled into one. 2. P51 - Guns, guns, guns! 3. And while I'm dreaming I want a Citation Columbus. Makes the world so much smaller. I was severely disappointed when Cessna pu...

As I was looking at the pictures and wiping the drool from my lower lip :) I noticed Higdon was standing next to the 162 in a picture. Great article Dave, and I am very much jealous of your trip! Hope...

Re: Episode 162: Go VFR at Seventeen-Five

Re: Sport Aircraft There are no new sport aircraft based at my airport (just legacy sports). I'm not even sure where the closest one would be. Maybe 90 miles away @ KAMA but I haven't seen any available for rent. The main reason where I live is due to the FBO owner. He and his wife are both in their...

Re: headsets

I used David Clark's up until last year. Clark's are great quality but got uncomfortable after a couple of hours on my round head. I bought a Lightspeed Thirty 3G and love them! Fits excellent on my head and the ANR works well in my environment. Lightspeed has won a customer for life. I plan on upgr...

Reading back over my post I hope I didn't come across as Beech bashing. I love our Sundowner and think Beechcraft are excellent aircraft. Just wish I could find a 3 blade propeller STC... :(

Re: NWA pilots misses KMSP by 150 miles!

My suggestion - If one pilot is going to take a nap, have him switch seats with a passenger that holds at least a private certificate. Then you still have the required crew and at least one passenger will have an enjoyable flight!
