Re: Ticket's still wet

greatblue, that is great! What a great relief to pass a checkride. I passed one just a couple of weeks ago and it is one of those things that when the examiner says "your legal" it is an overwhelming sence of accomplishment, to see all of your efforts pay off. Congrats! now go fly!

I had only about 30 hours or so and had never heard of a ramp check. So I made my squirrely landing and shut down the ...

Last night I was a nervous wreck and was secretly hoping my car wouldn't start or something to keep me from having to go through this. It seemed like I h...

Re: Cessna Lands on hwy in Tulsa

Yeah, he was very close to KTUL (Tulsa International). About a mile or 2 NW. He was comming from the north, and landed north of the airport. Re: English proficiency

Dave, Thanks for the insight. I am a private helicopter pilot in Tulsa, SO I don't plan on leaving the country anytime soon. But, I do know what you are saying about the broken english on the radio. Tulsa (Jones Riverside KRVS) is a big training airport. However, If I were to fly into an airport on ...
