Jeb, I attempted to duplicate your experiment. I can confirm that the alcohol did melt the ice, but that the excess ended up in my fuel tank. Fortunately, said fuel tank was full of Chinese food so there was no risk of fire at any time. There must be a leak in my fuel system because all of my gyrosc...

Theres a 3-400 ft displaces threshold at either end, so the planes shadow is the only thing that should have hit the SUV. Maybe the sight of the SUV blowing the stop line freaked out the new pilot? Maybe since this is in Texas and the pilot wasn't carrying so he used what he had?

For those that couldn't make it, here's my video of the parade's return run to KPSP. Sorry, there's 3 or 4 of the 70 or so planes missing. No adults were scared by clowns during the filming of this parade.
