Bird strike reporting

An interesting article and links over at JetWhine. Don't know if we have such a reporting program up here in the Great White North, but I was wonding if anyone outhere in the UCAP world has had a bird strike? Have you reported it? Multiple problems, its a club airplane, so moving it inside i$nt an option. Ditto for wing cover$. The tail is next to the building where the birds nest, they evacuate themslves on short final, hitting the wing. Is there any kind of wax or spray that could work?

Hope somebody can help. One of our 172's. Is parked in a spot where bird poop on the wing is a significant problem. The taxi or tow to a wash area is long and tedious, they're extra hard when its baked on by the sun. Now before everyone shouts out in nison, "move the plane", is there a bet...

Remote ATC Tower

An interesting concept. Short version: Using high-res cameras to create a 360' view of the field so that a controller could be located somewhere else. The enhanced visuals look good, but not sure what happens when comms are lost. Could allow for 'towers' at more airfields. Cheers, Mike http://blogs....
