Came across this in random surfing today. Might quibble with the order, but not with the selections. Anything obviously missing?

Re: Most iconic movie aircraft

I second the PBY! Remember that opening scene from Always? The Standard J-1 that was part of the Tallmantz collection should make the list. Anything from Pipistrel on Panthera Progress? #Not@OSH13

More TSA Mission Creep - Searching Cars Parked at Airports

http://www.whec.com/news/stories/S3101080.shtml?cat=566 "Iacuzza's car was inspected by valet attendants on orders from the TSA." So not an agent, but a car jockey valet doing the search in orders from TSA. What possible improvement to air transportation safety could that provide? TSA Dele...

Helicopter Makes Forced Landing on Hudson

I'm livid that this barely makes the human interest pages. How is this not Screaming Page 1 News?!? NYC tour helicopter loses power -- pilot deploys inflatable skid floats* and makes a successful forced landing on the Hudson. Everyone alive! $500k chopper headed for repairs, not scrap. *Emergency In...
