You be the pilot...

A trio of ugly scenarios as described by those who experienced them and published by NASA's CallBack...a product of ASRS... You be the pilot and think what you'd do in these scenarios if you were the pilot in charge. Good lessons here, as always... http://asrs.arc.nasa.gov/publications/callback/cb_3...

Re: My story - and thanks!

Landis!! Way -- to -- go!! You prove a point pressed again and again to many people along the way from where I started to where I sit: with drive, determination -- a goal -- we can accomplish amazing things and fulfill fantasies many would hold as unattainable. That we played even a tiny roll in you...

Re: BE-33 Running AutoGas?

Re: UCAP 278 Dailies from Sun n Fun 2012

Remember the encounter, JamieCT, thanks! To you and everyone else who introduced themselves at Sun 'n Fun, at Lakeland and Plant City and a couple of places off-campus, the honor is all mine/ours.... Now, if any of you detected a sense of hesitance on first stepping up, it's my latent humility at th...

Re: Wing Flapping

where to begin....insufficient wing area for the power, head-mounted video is too smooth to have been taken with all that up-and-down flapping...crummy rez, etc... But! Have you seen the video of the guy who lost an entire wing off one side of his airplane -- and still got it level and landed safely...

Re: #275

Speaking strictly for myself, there's a limit to how long I want to sit upside down hanging from a seatbelt....outside, upright, blood not pooling in the between-the-ears space....just don't touch the arresting wire... :o

Re: I have a question about the media for the guys.

Guys, guys...really? You don't see the common denominators screaming all over the place between the Turbine Otter and the Airbus? C'mon... Let's list 'em: scheduled airline flight... total power loss... water landing... Perfect survival record...except, the Otter passengers didn't even get the...
