Can anyone give me some background on the Altimatic V?
My guess is that it can't follow a GPS flight plan, so when installed with say a 430 would you only be legal to track a VOR? I suppose as long as the GPS is IFR certified you can follow it by using the heading bug, it just wouldn't be coupled in "NAV" mode.
Of course it wouldn't be able to capture a GPS glide slope but what about an ILS?
Any other limitations I haven't thought of?
