So I just picked up a Garmin 696. Great little device.
The mount that came with it would work fine with a small plane, but I wanted to try using it in a Navajo. Problem is - the Navajo yoke has a diameter that's too thick for the mount that came with the GPS - probably pretty typical for any "larger" plane.
I've contacted the people that make it (RAM), but I wouldn't mind hearing from a pilot around here who may have had the same problem and found a solution.
