Affordable HUD Possibility

Postby Sven » Sun Oct 12, 2014 12:48 am

I came across this HUD tonight for autos and thought it would be a great addition to the Mooney flight deck. Maybe Wing X or Foreflight could port a portion of their app to this and give us ADSB traffic, airspeed, altitude, etc.? The FAA is sure to love it, right?

That is really cool, even if I do reject all cool new stuff. As long as it runs on AA batteries it would fit right in on the glare shield of the champ. And it looked really easy to operate. Now If I could just figure out all the cool new apps in my "smart" phone and keep it from butt dialing my mother-in-law when I stuff it back in my pocket.
