Um, Mr Higdon? I have a question....

Dave,
I had lunch with Eddie Saurenman this past Sunday, and he was happy to learn of a new use for his little Ipod, what with the UCAP podcast and all...he was particularly interested to hear that you have a big part in it. THEN, he recalled a little trip you and he took in the Aviat Monocoupe 110 Special out in Afton WY some years ago. I won't go into details, but I would love to hear your side of that adventure. Howz about it, sir? Logbook memory? Might make a fun blog post.

Dave and Jeb and I are down here at Sun 'n Fun this week. So I'm not sure how often Dave's checking the Forums right now. But I'll mention this to him next time I see him.

PS. It really is nice to actually be "seeing" Dave and Jeb.

:D Can't claim otherwise :o ...

;) but don't let our clients know, K? We gotta pay for the privilege somehow.... :( which means some sort of compensating labors beyond letting <ahem> Jack try to twist caps off Leinnie's :?

Now...thrilled to hear about Eddie...ya, we go back a aways -- farther even than that Afton visit :o and his father's among my circle of aviating friends in the ICT community...

But as for the flight <ahem> in question, well, let me try to work up something suitable to the event...I'll go this far -- I've never known Eddie to overly indulge in aviation embellishment excess...and this story is one that needs only the repetition of facts as they occurred....but it's likely to still sound embellished! ;)

And if you're out there reading, Eddie...a shout-out's coming when this story gets told on the cast because it's now high on Jack's list! :o

In fact, what'd be really fun would be for Eddie to send me his contact info so we can have him on an episode and tell the story himself

Ya out there, Eddie?

Private message via this site??
