This location is roughly centrally located between Hanscom Field (KBED), Nashua (KASH) and Lawrence (KLWM).

Unfortunately, it's not really close to any of them. Lawrence and Nashua are more light GA friendly from a security and FBO standpoint. (Signature at Hanscom isn't unfriendly, but check with them in advance for any security issues or fees if KBED is your preference.)

If you think you're going to fly in, let us know and we'll try to arrange a pick-up if at all possible.

And regardless of how you plan to get there, please post here or send email to podcast@uncontrolledairspace.com to give us an idea of how many people we should be expecting.

It would seem to me that Lawrence (LWM) is the closest airport. I'm pretty sure we can arrange a shuttle of some sort if needed.

Damn! My wife has a previous engagement that I'll have to be home for by 8. Not sure if 1 hour in Tewksbury would be enough for me. I'm in Maynard, about 30 minutes from Tewksbury.

This meetup is still a "go", so if you can make it, we'll be there.

New England folks, we're trying to schedule another informal gathering in Massachusetts. Jack will not be around for the previously scheduled May 4th "round 2", but we're looking at alternatives.

We could go ahead and meet again next Monday, May 4th at the 99 Restaurant in Tewksbury without Jack.

We could meet before the upcoming Air Safety Foundation GPS Seminar in Newton on May 19th (not sure about Jack yet)

We can schedule something once we know what Jack's revised schedule is

OR

We could do all of the above!

Suggestions are welcomed!

I spoke with Bill "bedds" M. earlier, and we've decided to carry on without Jack at the 99 on May 4th. We'll be there around 6:30 pm at the bar, and would love to see Mike S., Jeff O., and Rick F. again, as well as any new faces who might be interested. Information on the 99 restaurant is posted in earlier replies to this thread.

Bill and I are also planning on attending the upcoming "GPS from the Ground Up" Safety Seminar sponsored by the Air Safety Foundation at the Marriott in Newton, Mass. on May 19th. We'd like to get together for food and a beverage before the seminar with other UCAP listeners who will be attending. If you're interested, please let us know. We'll post details when we have them!

Sorry I can't make it, but my company suddenly informed me that I'm travelling on Monday next week instead of Tuesday.

I enjoyed meeting everyone last time, and I look forward to the next one that I can make.

Still thinking about a fly-in to Barnes.

Is there still a plan to have a "fly-in" meeting at KBAF sometime in the near future?
