Legacy LSA/taildragger (Champ) in Chicago

Postby 1c5pilot » Sun Jul 18, 2010 11:48 pm

In one of the episodes the guys were talking about how there are few LSA's out there for rental and instruction. And in another, they were bemoaning the lack of taildraggers available for rent. (Forgive me for not remembering the episodes, but that's what comes from reviewing two years worth of podcasts in a couple of months.)

I have to mention that the airport I fly out of, Bolingbrook's Clow International (1C5) in a SW suburb of Chicago, has a classic 1946 Aeronca 7AC Champ available for instruction and rental. I've never flown it (W&B issues :(), but it looks SO FUN! :)

I'll do another post introducing myself, but thought this wouldn't be a bad introductory post.

Full disclosure: I rent at and maintain the website for A & M Aviation.
