Catching up

Postby jackhodgson » Tue Apr 07, 2009 7:33 am

I'm finally returning to the land of the living after almost a week of the flu, preceded by a week of work travel. I'm hoping to get #127 and #128 finished and posted over the next couple days. We're scheduled to record #129 on Wednesday evening.

Also, I owe about 8 listeners new user accounts on the forums. That's been a longer delayed thing, my bad, but I'll get that cleaned up in the next couple as well.

Ya. the world was racing ahead, and we weren't hearing about it. Missed you.

My question is, how will you afford all the beer you owe Dave and Jeb, because you have two episodes that didn't go up on time?

You better get the money together soon, I have a feeling they'll want to collect at SunNFun.

:D

I've already talked with J&D about this, and I've claimed a beer-deadline mulligan for 127 & 128.

Nevertheless, they are starting to get a little giddy at the thought of meeting me in Lakeland.

OK, finally.

I think I've now processed the entire backlog of requests for Forum Registration.

If you requested a forum reg, and it hasn't happened, please ping me again.

Thanks.

Well, time to report that Jack got away from Sun 'n Fun relatively lightly with the Jack H Backlog Brew Budget  He pulled down the size a leetle bit -- but didn't come within nuclear-blast range of zeroing it out...which means 8-) Jeb and I already are salivating a little over the prospects of our next all-together-now encounters in July :D ...

Best of all, with the savings from the beers I'm not having to buy on the road, I'm padding my down payment account for that airplane we hope to find later this year...more on that later.

Meanwhile, though, gotta commend Jack on how well he smiled while ponying up what little he had to cover this trip... :geek:
