It gets worse. Here is a link to a forum frequented by many Palo Alto residents. This conversation does not put Palo Alto in the best light. It does make me worry for the fate of KPAO. The amount of misinformation and disinformation on this forum is staggering. It is the usual Palo Alto hysteria and selfishness.

I want to respond to this stuff in a way that will protect the airport. Any suggestions?

Wow. That's quite the conversation. Our local newspaper decided to get rid of the comments feature after each story. Things became so horrible and uncivilized that it was hurting online readership. It's uncivilized and ill-informed rhetoric like this that gives "freedom of speech" a bad name. Three people died. It was a horrible accident. It obviously was not on purpose. Too bad a few in Palo Alto were more concerned about losing power than the tragic loss of life.

Musta been horrific for those folks in Palo Alto -- not knowing from where their next iPhone recharge might come

;)

Betchacan make some real profitable deals on wind mills and stand-by generators out there right about now; what could be more frightening than the possibility of the phone battery dying in the middle of a Tweet... :o

Stopping before my attitude rolls completely inverted...
