F-16 Encounter Angers Pilots

Postby jmdowney » Tue Apr 01, 2008 11:41 am

Interesting article and podcast at: http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/F1 ... 487-1.html

From the podcast, it appears no reasonable explanation or response has been received from Luke AFB officials.
If it were me I'd start with an email to Col. Robert Givens, Commander, 56th Operations Group: 56og.ccea at luke.af.mil. Then follow-up with phone calls to Col. Givens and to BG Noel T. "Tom" Jones, the wing commander.

Again, from the podcast, the Pilatus pilot indicates he's been stone walled by all of the folks he's been able to talk to at Luke. Seems pretty incongruous given the amount of webspace Luke gives about avoiding mid air collisions on their website: http://www.luke.af.mil/library/midairco ... idance.asp.

I'd put this comment on Avweb's site, but I can never seem to get beyond their home page.

Glad to have your comment here.

I think we're gonna talk about this on #75, to be recorded tonight.

You should name it the "uncontrolled fools" edition.
