Here's another interesting story from the BBC. The aeronauts are their own EAA. There's not a third class medical, no STCs, no privatization controversy, and sometimes no survivors. And they don't worry about changing out their filament navigation bulbs with LEDs. But there does seem to be a lot of ingenuity and passion for flight.
