In Episode 429 "Feeling Mellow", Jack mentioned he really enjoyed going out to the approach end of the runway and watching the arrivals at Sun N Fun. That's one of my favorites things to do at Oshkosh each year.
I camp under the wing of my Cessna Cardinal. Early each morning, I take a cup of coffee, my lawn chair, and hand-held radio to the flight line. It's fancinating to listen to the controllers' instructions and watch the results play out in front of me in real time. The myriad of cool airplane types, varying pilot skill levels, and the awesomeness of the controllers make this the perfect start to my day. I highly recommend it.

My big problem is I don't do this often enough. I always say I'm gonna set aside some time, and I usually don't. Maybe this year.
