Joining AEA as a normal person?

Postby Wickedpurple » Mon Jun 16, 2014 8:06 pm

I'm almost done with the avionics part of school. Weee! Tonight I found a copy of Avionics News. The info in the magazine is awesome and I want to get this every month. I tried looking on AEA's website but it seems only companies can join and get the magazine? Is there a way for me to join too? I'm not working in the field yet, and probably will not for a little bit. I already know how to get the pilot's guide they put out. :)

Thanks guys!

Purple,

We talked about your question on UCAP359, which will appear in a few days, but here's a more immediate answer:

First of all, you can read the magazine online. http://aea.net/avionicsnews/ then click the "Click here to begin reading" button.

or,

Dave reached out to the AEA folks and they sent us this answer:

Individuals may not become members of the AEA; however, to be added to our circulation list for the hard copy of Avionics News, simply complete the online subscription request form at http://www.aea.net/avionicsnews/Subscri ... mation.asp.

Hope that helps.
