Lost Balloon?

It has been a slow week, except for the blowing snow out of Washington, But I'd love to hear the full story and opinions about the missing barrage balloon from the airspace over our beloved capital.
We never seem to have such fun here in Oregon.

Yes, well I imagine that because it's a military asset, the investigation will not be as open as your typical NTSB inquiry would be.

I do love the old news clip they dug up where a reporter interviewed one of the balloon-wranglers who said that the chances of the cable breaking were one-in-a-million. Well, he didn't say they were zero I guess...
