Fair Skies and Tailwinds, Captain Hoover

Postby DJTorrente » Wed Oct 26, 2016 2:23 pm

From EAA, among other outlets:

Bob Hoover, Legendary Pilot, Dies at Age 94

What in incredible aviation resume. Unfortunately, what many pilots know prominently about Bob Hoover is the FAA witch hunt by which he came to stop flying. May younger generations who never had the opportunity to share the sky with him know only of what he has done over what was done to him.

Yes Dave, agreed. Anyone interested in aviation should read his autobiography, watch "Flying the Feathered Edge", see his "Timeless Voices" EAA interview, etc.
