Thanks for the FANTASTIC episode. Sounded like the three of you were having a GREAT time! Happy to hear Dave is building. Will love the process and love even more flying once complete. I'm still enjoying my RV-12. :D

Well congrats to Dave on building an airplane. I recall mention of a previous go at an RV-6. What ever happened to that project?

I certainly hope that Dave takes lots of pictures and shares them here!

Thanks for the good wishes everyone...will be chiming in as this progresses...and when there's something more to say than "still setting up the work space..." Already making new friends through the user groups for the Sonex products....so far, all good!

Thanks for the interest!

Along the lines of the "roadable airplane" during the brief window of sobriety between getting my kids in bed and trying to maintain a tenuous grasp on sanity...I was perusing the "Best of Craigslist" section of the famous website. My original goal was to find a chicken coop...but if you've never read BOCL, trust me, it beats the heck out of animal husbandry...even that which may involve a near endless supply of omelets and quiche.
I think we can all agree that this is possibly the greatest use of a salvaged Mooney and a Corvette. Enjoy!
