152 lands out on Long Island

The WSJ story says the pilot landed on a model aircraft runway. Here's an satellite pic of the RC model runway in Hecksher Park (http://g.co/maps/ekk9z); looks to be ~500 ft. long.

That's my model airplane flying field. I like the statement in the WSJ, "developed engine trouble." They tend to do that, when you run them out of gas.

I've been flying there since I was 10 years old. http://suffolk-aeromodelers.org/ I was surprised that google maps had the center taxi way already. We just put that in.
