Lose prop.....land in lake!

I frequently fly this wilderness route. The lakes and bogs are the only reasonable landing areas.

I would also commend Chris Knight for the quality of his reporting on this.

That is seriously in the middle of nowhere - lucky the Blackhawks were in the area - they could have been roughing it for quite a while. Nice job by the pilot getting down and even keeping the airplane upright in the water!

I guess there is an advantage in having MOAs over remote stretches of land...
