Nice non-towered in NY.

Sky Acres Airport is situated on 120 acres in Dutchess County, town of Union Vale, New York. It is a reliever airport for Westchester County Airport.

Restaurant on the airport. Taxi up. Park. Self serve if you need Avgas. Good prices. No landing fee. Small shop for goodies if you need maps and such.

Restaurant food is good. Nice atmosphere. Good prices. Waffles are a must for breakfast, but they are also known for pancakes as well. They also have an ice cream hut for summer.

All prices were good enough to try things to see what you like. Lunch is good as well.

The airport is in good shape. Lot of interesting vintage planes as well as the occasional Pilatus.

Sounds like a great option for fly-ins from all over New England and the Northeast.

One of my favorite destinations. Just keep in mind, bring cash. Their prices are great, but they don't take cards.

Ah, yes. The runway is below the parking area. So getting up the hill is a little tricky if you lost all your momentum before turning to go up the incline.

Summer is nice to visit, they'll have the ice cream house open just outside the restaurant. After eating, it's nice to grab a desert and sit outside and watch the planes land.
