AcroCamp — Jack flies in the Pitts
They backed me into a corner. I had no choice. (OK I admit that I secretly wanted to do it, but I was kinda scared shitless by the whole idea.) So I let them strap me in, and I “flew” the Pitts S-2B.
I’m still digesting the experience — and I’ll say more about it eventually — but this much I know: There were parts of it that I liked and would do again. Other parts I’m not anxious to repeat anytime soon.
Congratulations Jack! I am envious but I think I would be scared s**tless too!
You’re a better man than I am, Jack. I’m content to admit that I’m an old grumpy guy who has no need to be upside down for any reason anymore. I stay right side up, with the nose more or less on the horizon and the wheels (or floats) pointed in a roughly downward direction.
My hat’s off to you. But then if I’d gone on the flight you went on, it would have come off anyway.
You’re the man, man!
